Description: The exhibition "The Furniture Adventure of Sunnmøre" shows furniture, items required for production purposes, different materials, semi-finished products, pictures and information texts. The display tells how it was possible to build a competitive industry in a remote part of Norway. The municipality of Sykkylven has played a unique role in the furniture industry. Guided visits for groups to operative furniture factories may be arranged. The guided tours will show you how some of the world's most wellknown branded goods of furniture are produced.
