Museum: All year. June 5-Aug 15: Guided tours every day except Sat. Guiding Mon-Fri 10 am-4pm, Sun 11 am-5 pm.


Description: Lands Museum in Dokka was established in 1927. It is a museum of culture and natural history for Nordre Land and Søndre Land. The museum includes 35 buildings and documents living conditions from the Middle Ages till the 1900s. The interior of the farmhouse from the farm Thomle includes murals painted by the local artist Peder Aadnes. The exhibition called "When Animals of Prey Meet" includes the "The bear from Land". An exhibition on beavers. The museum has the Middle Ages as its main theme. The museum also has genealogy archives.
