Opening hours

All year: Moster Amphitheatre Mon-Fri 10 am-3 pm. Guided tours daily middle of June-middle of Aug. Moster Play: End of May-beginning of June kvart år.

Description: Moster Amphitheatre consists of an outdoor amphitheatre, a concert hall, an exhibition hall and a lecture hall. Exhibitions, a café, halls, and dinner or lunch by arrangement. The Moster Play, "The Christian Kings in Moster", describes a dramatic era of upheaval in Norway. The story takes place from the year 995, when Olav Trygvasson sailed to Norway to demand his royal inheritance and to introduce Christianity to the country, until 1024, when Olav Haraldsson ensured that Christianity was adopted in Norway at the Moster court.
