Description: An exhibition of natural history and culture in the old pulp mill from 1869 follows the traditional route of timber floating, from the deep forests of inner Østfold, along the rivers, canals, sluice gates and lakes of the region. In the sluice gates outside the Museum there are old steamships and other types of boats used in timber floating throughout history, among them the imposing Engebret Soot" - the world's oldest propeller steamboat. The Steamship Café is located by the pier. A handicraft festival is arranged at the end of June.
