Description: In a former prison from 1725 is a distinctive little museum focusing on Trondheim's maritime history since 1500. The collection includes ship models, galleon figureheads, maritime instruments and pictures of sailboats from the area. The museum has a comprehensive archive with information on ships and captains. There is some information on Det Nordenfjeldske Dampskipsselskab and a photo exhibition on the regional maritime traffic on the Trondheimsfjord. You can also see findings from the wreck "Perlen" from 1781. Archive at Trøndelag Folk Museum.
