Description:
Gallery Bodøgaard is developed by the family Bodøgaard during two generations. It was opened for the first time in 1985, and displays varying exhibitions on painting and handicraft in a historical perspective as well as a modern one. The exhibitions also comprise an ethnographic collection from the region of Nordland in addition to several thousand objects attached to hunting, fishing, agriculture, domestic industry and war history. The gallery also includes a big collection of ikons and a hand-made Russian Bible from 1801. |
